2 miserable days for me, and it's not over yet.
Started on Sunday night when a case of sore throat slowly creeps in after the company function in KLCC. Dismissing it as dehydration, I gulped down a mug of lukewarm honey drink. It got slightly better; hence I went to work on Monday.
It started to get worse on Monday evening so I decided to pay a visit to the panel doctor. Maybe it's about her closing time already (I went in around 5.15pm and the clinic's supposed to tutup pintu at 5.30pm), there's nobody at the reception-cum-dispensary. After waiting, waiting, waiting, the doc finally appeared, I filled in the necessary forms and in I went for consultation. Diagnosed as a mere case of sore throat, a packet of antibiotics, gargle and lozenges were prescribed.
Something is not right as I drove myself home in my CLK. I felt like throwing up. Tahan, tahan, tahan...I told myself. And tahan I did until I reached home, took a shower, watched the soap drama, ate my dinner, popped in the antibiotics and Panadols and went to bed.
Finally I couldn't tahan anymore. At approximately 12.30am, I woke up and rushed to the toilet. First it was diarrhoea, and then I had to stand up and face the other way round because I couldn't tahan anymore. Ellkkk...out came the vomit. It should be the lunch I ate earlier, coz the only thing I had for dinner was two slices of bread. The vomit is quite dark in colour (I couldn't see properly coz I wasn't wearing my contacts or glasses).
Went to see doc yesterday (Tuesday) morning. And so fever + diarrhoea + vomit = viral infection. Stomach virus and dunno whatever virus have been wreaking a havoc inside of me.
At this moment I'm still not my old self. Feeling grouchy, hungry (all I can have is either porridge/bread), angry, and sleepy (skipped caffeine for the day and replaced with tea instead), and homesick *sob*
