Well, it seems like a cool CNY holiday for me. No big gathering, no "eat till you want to die but before you die, you have to eat again" kinda stuff. Parents went back hometown but I decided to stay at home and did some reading.... yes, that's right, reading and no, I am not yc. I am the one and only cc. So earlier today I did some calling to some friends and see what they are up to. Some are still eating, some are sleeping, some are eating while they are sleeping but most of them are with relatives and family.....eating. Unbelievable right? While some of us actually feel guilty if we spend all of our time during Christmas shopping or eating, we actually don't feel guilty at all indulging in sins during CNY. As a matter of fact, even as a Christian, if you decided to gamble during CNY, you don't actually feel guilty as well!! Amazing right? It's like the the reason to spend more for a Valentine dinner, of the reason to wake up late on a Saturday, or the reason to drink when your boss is telling you to drink, or the very reason to hurt the person that love you most or the wonderful reason to flee away from responsibility when good life is lurking at the horizon or the reason to screw your boss and job when you have an offer waiting elsewhere. Whatever it is, CNY really brings out the beast in all of us. At least it did to me. Anyway enjoy your CNY guys, see you when everyone's sober!!
