Olympic

So sad the Olympic has ended. The excitement still lingers even after 2 days. ManU beating Portsmouth doesn't really excite me at all as the victories of Usain Bolt and Micheal Phelps still amazes me. How can people travel that fast using only their muscle? I know of certain people who can produce extremely loud noise with their nose, for example SH when he snores but those athletes are really good. I placed my support with the US this time as opposed to everyone around me. I don't understand why they keep cheering for China. As if they belong to China. I was once a proud Chinese until I realize that the real Chinese will only look at you as a Malaysian or a Malay. You don't belong there, so screw it. I pick up and don in me the fact that my identity is what I decide, not judged by the color of my skin or the language I speak or the origin of my grandfathers. A sudden gush of excitement when Beijing suddenly became the center of attraction "China rocks, "I am a Chinese" , "China will triumph" and all those gibberish natter while months ago, condemning the low quality of China made products, which is arguably true. What are we? I am not sure. Are we Chinese? Are we Malaysia? I think, Malaysia and some other countries in south east Asia still insert a barrier between race and nationality. The one and only thing I can be sure of, is my identity in Christ.
