Only the B I B L E

Aren't we all crooks? All looking after our own interest. All of us are salesman by profession. We have something to sell and hope someone will buy what we are selling at the highest price. Whether you're selling insurance, floor mats (that's me), a teacher, babysitter, taxi driver or lawyer. We always have something to offer...we are also always looking to "upgrade" ourselves, either by getting an extra certificate, taking on a selling course or performing plastic surgery. All in the name of selling. Who says you need a physical material to sell? We are always learning how to sell our body for money. I recently graduated from a selling course and learned how to be assertive and aggressive. How to excecute some relentless selling method all in the name of being a better worker. Isn't this all we learn when attending a training course? Why isn't there any course that teaches on patience, gentleness or forbearance with one another out of love? Because these don't make you any money. Instead sometimes it will cost you money. I was reading Ephesians 4 and Paul was urging his readers to do these. I thought to myself this is most of what we learn about in the bible isn't it? Problem is, it's probably the only place on earth that teaches it. Parents are too busy teaching children how to beat their classmates in every subject, employer is looking forward to utilize the employee and churches are too busy building basement car parks, gym room and sauna room for their members. Where else if not the bible?
