It's so true because the more convenient life, the less significant God is to us. Life then becomes a boring journey to the grave. Study, work, earn money, marry, have kids, watch them grow, retire, go for holiday and the death bed awaits. Who needs God to tell them what to do with their lifes? Who cares what is God's will in their life? Life here in Singapore is really great...city is really clean, cars are nice, it is safe to walk at night....life is just great here. Certainly a heaven for people who have decided on the path of their life. People who have decided to take a nice and safe stroll along life's journey, make sure life is insured, manage to pay car and house loan, having their saving on investment, have plans for their childs education, able to enjoy what this life has to offer...perfect life in a perfect world.
We as Malaysian fights everday. We try to fight the blardy system. We curse the leadership. We rally protest to protect our rights. We live in fear every moment of our lifes here. We're afraid from the moment we step out of the house till the time we close our eyes at night, hoping we will live in a perfect world one day but when we wake up, fear takes a new form. So we try to adapt, we try to learn, so we pacify our children. Telling them if they study hard, they will live a good life in future. Little did they did know that this is not a perfect life in a perfect world. So we ask God, what do we do now? Where do I go? What do You need me to do to make this a better place?
