Burden with life or for His Word

I’ve been mulling through the word of God lately. Somehow just lost the excitement for some new fresh insight. Sometimes, you can’t help it but think the word of God very simple to hear but hard to practice. Somehow we just couldn’t escape the loop of salvation, Christ death on the cross, redemption and forgiveness of sins … until now.

Have a quick read of Hebrews 6:4-8.

Reading these words and making a fair enough of research tells me that not all part of the bible is fully understood. Sometimes God will give us something really hard to chew on, so we can continue to think about His words, the application in our lives. It gives us a focus, to think about His word day in day out. It forces us to think about God, how we may ignorantly think that we know most about, but all reveals that we know very little. It enforces that all wisdom comes from God. Are you struggling with your life? Seeing that God is dealing harshly on you? Asking the question why God is punishing me? Maybe all that is required is to understand the Word more deeply to get your answer. Maybe dwelling on the surface of salvation message or love message or Davis versus Goliath is not enough.

We need to pursue more details. We need to bath ourselves with the Word of God. We need to open up our heart to tougher message, we need to make initiative to look for books or article that can strengthen our faith, we need to grow spiritually. The burden now is probably more than our fragile faith can handle. What else to consider when we have only books to worry about? But now it’s more than that, it’s work, money, complex relationship and life generally. The rudder that controls our lives is in our hands, truly the burden is more, truly we need to seek His Word for more understanding.

Anyway what do you think Hebrews 6:4-6 is all about?
