I was dropping by the uni this afternoon to discuss some stuff with my supervisor and return a long overdue book as well. Talking about that book, someone seems to be playing "rebut-rebut" with me. That particular book was being loaned out for the whole of two months before I decided to book it. Alas, it came into my hands. But it was not meant to stay. The moment that it's due, it's being booked by someone again. I'm not sure if it's the same person, but I had no choice but to reluctantly part with the RM3xx.xx book.
Anyways, the much sought after book is not my point here.
It was drizzling as I made my way to the library, I quickened my pace and was trying to just drop the book at the counter and get it done with. As I was about to approach the corridor leading to the library's main entrance, this lady suddenly approached me and "opened" his umbrella.
The conversation below took place in Mandarin.
She asked, "Are you a Christian?"
"Yeah..." the ellipsis was just to illustrate that I was caught off guard by her question.
"Are you interested to join our bible study group?" she asked.
"Erm, I'm already attached to one," I answered politely.
"Oh, it's okay then. Thanks."
The conversation ended.
I was just wondering, if I had answered "No" to her very first question, what would have been her next question? This is not the first time that I have been approached in the campus. I have nothing against it, but at the same time, I wonder as to how many people did they managed to "successfully" shared the Gospel with?
I should not question the approach; I know that for sure. All work done for the glory of God is good work.
I chose the title above because the message at church yesterday really touched me. I shall keep the touched feelings of mine for the next post to avoid this post exceeding the 250 words limit.
