my..my.. i guess our woot already 2 years rite? and in a blink of an eye its December again.. i could just remember the day when i change job from church administrator to a marketing officer.. and its almost 2 years that i've been working there! whats my plans? i don't know! but i guess God have already laid down all of them in front of me and i just need to obey and follow! seeing how the woot have grown spiritually is really a blessing from God to all us wooters! and hopefully we will continue to grow! :P
well weee.. what have that got to do with the title of the post? hehe... actually i come across a tought! what does Christmas really mean to all of us? is it really just a time of celebration, party or holiday? or is it Christmas mean a pre-holiday for us to await for the new year? when i went to K4 and SP (after my work.. not in the afternoon) Christmas decos are already up and also the long awaited to some of you for ... the year end sale! :) a time to shop for Christmas presents! i actually felt that way... holiday... presents... nice christmas decos in the shopping complexes and ahother dayoff from my work!
Christmas is actually a birthday celebration! a birthday celebration for a King who came to tell us that He is the only way to God.. most of the time during christmas, people celebrated the birthday without Christ in the party! Christmas have been replaced by people with Christmas trees, Santa Clause, raindeers, a season with snow! we (all people, including Christians) go thru Christmas season , with all of its festivities, without remembering the One whose brith we are supposed to be honoring!
you know! its really amazing that if we go to a shopping complex we hear christmas carols being played! and most christmas carols are actually proclaming the coming of a Savior... and just compare it to other festives in Malaysia and the songs played in the shopping complexes... it doesn't really brings out the meaning of the celebration! but people are ignorant towards the songs and treat them just like a Hari Raya Song!
just a little tought to all wooters... cause i've felt that kind of Christmas without Christ.. and this tought came into my mind! so when we redirect our focus on christmas as to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ then our christmas will be more meaningful!
