i was reading thru the blog Kenny Sia posted about the lucky draw scam.. i actually had the same encounter but after a different company name..

these people actually called me on my Digi phone and apprently they know i am working for Digi! so they invite me to attend a conference cum show case of the latest handphone in KL and gave me a ticket number to enter to the conference and its held on Saturday! well like kenny don even care about that cause i got better things to attend.. they called me back few days after and told me that i got a lucky draw of the 3rd prize.. in cash! its not a big amount like what he get... mine aws only 12k ringgit... well better than nothing rite?

then the rest of the steps are just like the conversation in the phone.. not just like.. it is actually very similiar! until they say about the insurrance deposit! i was already in doubt! i was thinking what the heck? if i'm the one who won the prize i still have to pay you money? i'm not as dramatic as Kenny lar... but they were very presistent... kept calling me! and by the way... it was a lady who service me! until one day i answer and i say i'm not interested and i told them stop bugging me! i actually told this to CC...

what happen to the world today? these con people really make it so professional.... like what kenny say... the lie was so perfect! so for all of u out there... be extra careful of the things that is happening!
