Christmas Is Over

It's a good thing that CC searched for the meaning of Christmas, and eventually found an answer himself. I was pondering over the question, but couldn't find a satisfying enough answer to post in the blog. I suppose that as I grew older, answers seem to be ain't that simple anymore.

Now the Christmas season is over this year, and we're looking to a new year 2008. Time has gone by quickly this year, and before I knew it, it's time to make resolutions again. Some of you sceptical ones might laugh at the fact that I do believe in resolutions. I've never managed to stick to these resolutions in the past, but 2007 has brought a new sense of determination to me. To recap:

Resolution #1: Read the bible daily.
I've been trying to follow a bible reading plan that was in my KJV bible (i.e. Old Testament in the morning, New Testament at night), but now I've decided to follow another plan. So far I've been reading the word of GOD almost daily in 2007, although I have admit that I tend to slack during weekends when I do not have much discipline.
>>There's more room for improvement to this resolution. To be carried forward.

Resolution #2: To exercise three times a week.
It went well initially, but I slacked towards the end when some health problems sort of held me back. I know, excuses. Nevertheless, it was an improvement from the past when I hardly worked out. The treadmill and bike have been my regular exercise companion, that now I felt uneasy if I don't exercise for at least once a week.
>>There's room for improvement to this resolution. To be improvised.

Resolution #3: To patch up neglected relationships
I have not been keeping in touch with some of my friends due to the hectic schedule of working and studying in the past. Since completing my Masters', I've been hanging out more with my childhood friends and even took the initiative to mend a relationship which have been left broken for too long.
>>Resolution almost accomplished.

I have yet to figure out the resolutions for 2008. I might use some of the resolutions above and improvise on them, or I might make a totally new one. I suppose some of these resolutions should have been made into a lifestyle, rather than just an annual surge of determination.

We'll see.

Anything to share about your resolutions?
