Aerosol Effect

Sometimes I notice strange smell on my toothbrush but I thought maybe it's just my "imagination". Until I bought this nice "toilet break" book - you know, the kind of reading material restless people would read when they poop. There's this article about aerosol effect in toilet - this effect occurs when you flush without closing the toilet seat lid. Apparently some earth sucking cloud will appears when you flush without closing the lid

and will travel 6-8 feet carrying some deadly bacterial, landing on almost anything that you would use or apply. Toothbrush, tissue paper, soap, wall, or even your bed if your room is right beside the toilet and you do not close your doors and of course most importantly, your skin. You don't want to end up like this do you? So next time when you decided to take a leak, make sure before flushing, use a little joule you might have to close the lid.
