As we are heading into.....

RECESSION. We are living in really interesting times. How would the next recession impact us? As our daily food and oil goes higher by the day, we seek our bosses attention to increase our salary but the only thing they will increase is inflation. Job market may be shrinking, your investment might no longer provides the proud 5% annual returns, your unit trust agent scramble to text you that the previous promised 2 years might be prolonged to 5 years and still advise you to buy more..... broker spamming your mails with "good" prospects on certain shares - their reason? Buy low sell high. People going nuts selling all USD, in exchange for MYR, as if that will saved them. Or better still, go buy gold and keep them under your pillow. Whatever it is, the frantic of the world, the madness of society, recession might be a good thing after all. Actually recession is good for a number of reasons. One of them is; people will opt to cooking and eating together as a family. Ever body knows cooking at home is much cheaper than eating outside, unless the only dish you know how to cook is lobster and sh's ABC which requires expensive medical treatment later. This will foster good quality time among family members, enhance communication between siblings or parents. Sometime I realize that because I enjoy eating out so much, I have neglected time with my parents at home. I think recession is a good thing for me. No more i-dragon, or Mexican or Japanese, just my mum's cooking and quality time. Can you think of any good thing to have and enjoy because of recession? I believe we should not be too worried or anxious about recession.

Matthew recorded Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:34: "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.”
