Amazing Journey

Well, I started my Monday with the first 2 person on my speed dial gone and my nose could not stop leaking. Adios KW and FF. See you guys next year.

Christmas and new year was quite memorable for me. Is it because God reveals something to me during those busy events in church? Absolutely not. It's so hectic and crazy that one would be deaf to His mighty calling. So a few of us wooters decided to go Cameron Highland. A place where most people dread the winding and twisting road. A fear that they might puke the joyous content of their stomach but for the love of traveling together we decided it was worth the pain and still is. And here my story goes.....

It all started when kw decided to take a crap among some tea leaves which will ended up in your cup one day.
hehehe.... okay okay, that was a joke. He was just posing, not doing anything harmful to mother nature or to the population of the earth. Let me start again....

It was a day worth remembering. 3 innocent city rats decided to take a hike up Gunung Berinchang. One of the rats thought it would be a morning scroll, maybe can see some waterfalls but these fools did not know what awaits them.....okay, a less dramatic perhaps.

3 innocent city rats (from left to right) Mr Had To Wear His New Levi's Jeans, Ms Yay, I'm going To See Waterfall!" and Mr I Can't Decided If I Need to Wear Shades to Jungle Track
Oh river, the waterfall might be near!!!

The trail is nearly 50% climbing on 2 legs, 30% climbing on all 4, 10% wading through mud and 10% climbing on all 5 (the belly)
Running out of breath

KW going on all four
Some tree and roots formation is just breathtaking. Through the journey, I just could not stop thanking God for this opportunity to appreciate His creation.

Some spectacular view of some strange branch formation. It looks like an enormous bird nest with a hole in the middle. Perhaps the egg is too heavy?

Some of the views are just amazing. You got to be there to feel the strong cold wind blowing against your face, breath in the fresh air and embrace the morning mist so chilling but soothing.
We had to stop here for a while. The wind is just so strong, it's tempting!

Yay, 0.68km left!!!
3 hours later....what the hell??? 0.19km left to go? Truth is, we had to go on all 5 to get to this point. Check out the difference between the 2 pictures.
There finally, nothing beat the satisfaction of all the toils and the view. It's the VIEW baby!

lsq: Okay, now where is our driver?? Oh maybe we just have to walk down. 10km? No sweat.....
kw and cc: ..........

And the slow torturous walk begins.... initially we joked about rolling down the road, but as our legs and heart grows weak and weary, rolling down seem to be very and extremely tempting.
kw: screw it, I am not walking anymore.

lsq: yay, BOH plantation, wonder if ky is already here.........
cc: they are not coming. Don't wait on them anymore...fly away.....
kw: how this idiot still have the energy to jump????!!!
Two casualties at the end of the day. Totally worthy.

kw and lsq thanks for wading through the mud with me. I enjoyed it every much. Best trip of the year for me personally.
