The case of....

I studied Chemical Engineering previously because I wanted to do some good for the environment, disgustingly this is not the place where people are so concerned about it. In Uni, we studied the feasibility of using an incinerator but realize that since Malaysia has so much land to waste might as well just use a landfill instead. In Port Klang, I have seen fertile land render useless because of the use of landfill. Such a waste, such contamination to mother nature. Such ignorant and irresponsible people. Yes, they do exist, sadly. Then lately I stumbled upon the Aral Sea case. The quiet Chernobyl some say. Used to be the 4th largest inland sea now reduced to a mere pond.

The great Aral Sea in 1985

The reduced Aral in 2008

It's painful to even consider the consequences of greed that has made this one of the world's worst disaster.

Is the world getting any better? Are we actually living in good times? Is there hope? Is there a purpose to fight for a better position in the job market? What are we seeking or hoping to achieve?

Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)

11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

1 Thessalonians 2:19 (New International Version)

19For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you?
